The following is an open letter to Latin musician Mercedes Sosa sent on 21 July 2008 by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel: How can Mercedes Sosa, the quintessentially progressive diva of freedom songs in Latin America, sing in Israel, a colonial and apartheid state whose war crimes have reached new lows, systematically and deliberately destroying Palestinian society and engendering a process of slow ethnic cleansing of the indigenous people of Palestine?

Samuel Nichols, who blogs at SammerTime, is a American member of the Christian Peacemaker Team working in a village in the southern West Bank:

Morocco: “We Are All Gaza”

Rabat is 2,393 miles away from Gaza as the crow flies, but that doesn't stop Moroccans from feeling a strong sense of solidarity with Palestinians.  As Israel's attacks against Gaza continue to worsen, Morocco's bloggers continue to speak out.

Hicham of Al Miraat, who has posted the image below, reminds us that we are all Gaza and makes this statement, in a separate post:
